What does the free insurance cover?
Every trip we organise comes with free professional civil liability insurance: proper performance of the trip, a refund of your money and repatriation in case of insolvency. It does not cover health issues or cancelling on your side: that is what travel insurance is for.
How do I get baggage insurance?
Ask for it when you book your trip. You choose a €15, €20 or €25 package per bag and you are covered on flights.
Does travel insurance cover cancellation?
Yes. Travel insurance covers medical emergencies, such as accidents, and travel issues, such as cancelling the trip, before or during it. It comes at an extra cost.

Detailed terms
1. Professional Civil Liability Insurance Policy
The travel agency PAKOS ANTONIOS / TRAVELBEE.EU – TRAVEL & TOURISM E-SERVICES has taken out a Professional Civil Liability Insurance Policy covering proper performance and insolvency, including the refund of payments made as well as the repatriation of travellers for every excursion it organizes and offers free of charge to each Traveller. The insurance policy number, the details of the insurance company, the details of the insurance agent and the coverage provided are available to the Traveller. It is emphasized that group coverage is subject to limits and restrictions imposed by international conventions governing carriers, hotels, agents and other service providers. The insurance policy has been notified to the Greek National Tourism Organization and is currently in force. Travellers who wish to be insured for higher amounts, including life insurance, personal belongings, accidents and other types of coverage, are advised to take out an individual insurance policy for the amounts they require. All Travellers are advised to carry with them during their trip the “European Health Insurance Card” issued by their respective social security institution. We reiterate the importance of having insurance coverage for cancellation costs in cases of illness, accidents, etc., before or during the trip.
2. Baggage Insurance Upon request
We offer baggage insurance for air travel in cooperation with an insurance company, at an additional charge of €15, €20 or €25 per piece of baggage. If your baggage is not delivered by the airline on time, is temporarily lost or is permanently lost, the insurance covers the tracing, recovery and return of your lost baggage within 96 hours of the loss being reported. If this is not possible, you will receive compensation of USD 1,000.00, USD 1,500.00 or USD 2,000.00. Detailed terms and coverage information are available to the Traveller.
3. Travel Insurance Upon request
We offer travel insurance at an additional charge, covering unexpected health-related issues, such as accidents, and travel-related issues, such as trip cancellation, which may arise before or during the trip and are not covered by the Civil Liability Insurance Policy provided free of charge by our Travel Agency for every excursion/trip. The insurance policy number, the details of the insurance company, the details of the insurance agent and the coverage provided are available to the Traveller. It is emphasized that coverage (group or individual) is subject to limits and restrictions imposed by international conventions governing carriers, hotels, agents and other service providers.
