02Day

MILAN

Wake up to breakfast, patiently waiting for you to discover and enjoy it! Your Milan adventure begins with a 3-hour morning walking tour of the city, where you will admire the majestic Milan Cathedral, a soaring masterpiece of Gothic architecture and the city’s landmark, with its wonderful panoramic terraces. Next we visit the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a historic shopping arcade where you will learn about its rich history while enjoying its unique architecture. You will not fail to notice the chic cafés and some of the most expensive boutiques of Italian and international fashion houses selling accessories, clothing and footwear. We continue with a visit to the luxurious La Scala opera house, one of the most famous theatres in the world – get ready to immerse yourself in the city’s musical heritage. In the afternoon we suggest you visit Corso Buenos Aires, the city’s largest shopping street, home to almost all the famous Italian boutiques which, thanks to the sales, have one more reason to tempt you into buying some of their products! If you would like to shop in a targeted way and find out where the best deals are, a local guide specialising in shopping will spend 2 hours steering you towards the best pieces of the season (cost €15 per hour per person)! In the evening, enjoy Milanese cuisine at a local trattoria. Overnight stay.

03Day

MILAN

Breakfast at our hotel and a free day. On your third day in Milan we suggest delving deeper into the city’s cultural riches. Start at the Pinacoteca di Brera, where you can admire works by Italian masters such as Caravaggio and Raphael. Then explore the historic Castello Sforzesco, a fortress turned museum that houses a collection of artworks and historical objects, including Michelangelo’s Pietà Rondanini. Do not miss the Monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where you can admire Leonardo da Vinci’s world-famous, iconic mural “The Last Supper”. Booking tickets in advance is essential, as access is limited (cost €65 per person with a guide and skip-the-line entry). In the afternoon, embrace Milan’s modern side in the CityLife district, where impressive architectural marvels such as the Isozaki Tower and the Allianz Tower dominate the skyline. Enjoy some leisurely shopping or relaxation in the CityLife Shopping District before dining at a modern, elegant Italian restaurant. End your day with a visit to the fashionable Brera district, known for its lively nightlife and charming streets. For basketball fans, it is well worth watching local favourites Armani Milan take on Red Star at the city’s jewel of an arena, the Mediolanum Forum, in a round of the pan-European club championship! Overnight stay.

04Day

MILAN – LAKE COMO – BELLAGIO – LUGANO

Breakfast at the hotel and a free day. Optionally, immerse yourself in the best of Swiss and Italian culture on a full-day, 11-hour excursion (cost €113 per person) that will stay with you for the beauty and the sights you will encounter. Leaving Milan, you reach the Swiss town of Lugano, where you will visit the town centre and taste authentic Swiss chocolate. Head on to the small village of Cadenabbia, where both Queen Victoria of England and Tsar Nicholas of Russia were frequent visitors. From there, take a 15-minute cruise to Bellagio, also known as the “Pearl of Lake Como”. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this idyllic and beautiful setting and stop for lunch. Board a ferry boat and see Lake Como from a different, stunning perspective. During the panoramic cruise, take time to look around you and see the harmony between nature and architecture, past the villas with their beautiful gardens and amid unspoilt nature. Your last stop will be the picturesque and ever-popular town of Como. Once you disembark, enjoy a walking tour of the town and reach the Gothic cathedral, accompanied by a professional tour leader who will help you discover the art and history of this charming town. Return to Milan. Overnight stay.
