Itinerary

01Day

Athens – Vienna (City Tour)

Meeting at the airport and flight to Austria’s aristocratic capital, Vienna. On arrival, our panoramic tour of Vienna’s historic centre begins: we will see the Belvedere Palace and drive along the famous Ringstrasse to see Vienna’s most important sights, such as the Stadtpark, the Opera, the MuseumsQuartier, the Franz Joseph Gate, the Parliament, the City Hall, the old Burgtheater, the University and the Votive Church (Votivkirche). We will then end up at St Stephen’s Cathedral and walk through the historic quarter of the Greek community. Free time. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Free time for a first acquaintance with the city. Overnight stay.

02Day

Vienna (Free Day – Christmas Markets)

Breakfast at the hotel. Put on your hat and coat and enjoy one of the most beautiful markets in Europe. Walk into the heart of the historic centre to find the old Viennese-style market at the Freyung. It is one of the oldest and most traditional markets in the city. Dozens of treats and even more handmade crafts are just some of the things you will find there, while the stalls with traditional ceramics are also of interest. In the late afternoon this market also has music, and just a stone’s throw away is the Am Hof Advent Market, which you have every reason to visit too. Overnight stay.

03Day

Vienna – Bratislava – Prague

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the capital of the Czech Republic, fairy-tale Prague. On the way we will visit Bratislava. We will explore the old town, Staré Mesto, which takes visitors several centuries back in time as they walk its cobbled streets, admire its Baroque architecture and relax in its cafés and restaurants. A short distance from the old town, we will also see other important sights, such as the 15th-century Bratislava Castle (Hrad), which houses the Museum of History and Music, the Slovak National Theatre and Philharmonic Orchestra, and the National Gallery, housed in an 18th-century palace. Transfer and check-in at our hotel in Prague. Free time for a first acquaintance with the city. Overnight stay.

04Day

Prague (City Tour & Prague Castle)

Breakfast at the hotel. On our morning city tour we will visit the largest castle complex in Europe, Hradčany, which spreads across the rock above Malá Strana, with the imposing St Vitus Cathedral. We will walk down to the Alchemists’ quarter, where Franz Kafka’s house is also located, and wander through the city’s medieval streets to see the Powder Tower, the Town Hall, the church of St Nicholas and the stone Charles Bridge. Free time and return to our hotel. Overnight stay.

05Day

Prague – Karlovy Vary

Breakfast and departure for a full-day excursion to the famous spa town with its wonderful Renaissance-style buildings. On our guided tour we will see, among other things, the Imperial Spa, the Town Theatre, the natural geyser, the Russian church and the legendary Grandhotel Pupp, built in the late 17th century. Free time to enjoy a stroll through the picturesque town centre along the river, to do some shopping, or for coffee or a meal. Don’t forget that Karlovy Vary is the home of the famous Bohemian crystal, so don’t miss the chance to do your shopping. Return to Prague. Overnight stay.

06Day

Prague – Athens

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for our return flight to Athens.
