Good to know

General notes

  • Flights are not included. Prices are for the cruise only. Ask us about flights and hotel stays before or after the cruise.
  • Prices are per person in euros (€), in a double cabin, with the basic My Cruise package, and include port charges and the service charge (€12 per adult per night, mandatory and an integral part of the price, which Costa charges to the cabin account). Children aged 4–14 pay 50%, children under 4 nothing.
  • With the All Inclusive package (drinks and soft drinks all day) the price is about €180 per person higher: ask us.
  • Single cabin supplement: 100% of the prices, plus port charges.
  • A 30% deposit of the total booking amount is required to confirm the booking, with full payment 30 days before departure. Bookings made less than 30 days before departure must be paid in full immediately.
  • Greek port visitor fee: introduced by the Greek state in July 2025 for every passenger (infants included) who goes ashore at a Greek port, charged to your onboard account. At current rates: up to €20 per port for Mykonos and Santorini and up to €5 for other Greek ports in the summer months, less in spring, autumn and winter.
  • Guarantee category: the system assigns the cabin number automatically, so we cannot know the deck in advance. It may also have an obstructed view.
  • Cruise prices are not fixed: they depend on availability on the ship. Booking early secures the cabin category you want.

Travel documents

  • To complete the booking we need the full details of all passengers as they appear in their passport or ID card (full name, document number, date and place of birth, issue and expiry dates), and an emergency contact (full name and mobile number).
  • You need a passport valid for 6 months after the end of the cruise or a new-type ID card, depending on the cruise: ask us. From 3 August 2026 the old Greek “blue” ID cards are no longer accepted as a travel document.
  • Minors without an ID card need a passport. Children travelling with one parent need the written consent of the other parent, and children travelling with other relatives the written consent of both parents.
  • Foreign nationals holding foreign passports and/or residence permits must inform us in writing and check with the consular authorities whether they need a visa for the countries visited and for their return.
  • We provide all the information on the documents needed, but we are not liable if the competent authorities do not issue or endorse them.

Cancellation policy

  • 60 days or more before departure: €100 per person (handling fee).
  • 59–30 days before departure: 20% of the total.
  • 29–15 days before departure: 50% of the total.
  • 14–8 days before departure: 75% of the total.
  • 7–0 days before departure: 100% of the total.
  • Last Minute offers cannot be cancelled or refunded (100% cancellation charge).

By paying the amount to confirm your booking, you confirm that you have read and accept the Costa Cruises Terms and Conditions, which form an integral part of the services provided.
